Singam is gearing up for an April (2010) release and talks are going on with Sun Pictures to release it.

Director Hari recently said, “The story of the film happens in town, city and village. Surya is donning a different kind of character which he has not done so far. In short if I have to say about Singam, in a single hit there will be one and half tonnes weight. Because of this Surya will become fatter. This film will have romance, action and sentiments.”

Manush Nandan has worked as an assistant to many reputed camera wizards including Ravi K. Chandran. He last worked as an assistant in the recent Bollywood hit film ‘My Name Is Khan’.
